Sony Bravia VPL-XW5000 Projector

Sony VPL-XW5000ES 4K projector represents a watershed moment in the Sony pro projector lineup, replacing the evergreen VW290ES with a raft of new technology that takes a small but perfectly formed projector into the next generation of projectors.

Phosphor Laser

Sony has used a mercury-free phosphor laser on the VPL-XW5000ES to enable the projector to produce high-quality 4K imagery as well as be green and kinder to the planet by reducing the power requirement needed to power this laser compared to older models.

Brighter Than Before

Sony has brought their learning off their larger projector line up into this smaller form factor with up to 2000 lumens of high brightness generated by the mercury-free phosphor laser, bringing the action even closer to you.

You can truly lose yourself in the action thanks to the all-new 4K SKRD panel that delivers a natural 4K resolution of 8.3 million pixels which allows you to enjoy rich colours and the deepest of textures in all your viewings.

Processor Power

At the heart of VPL-XW5000ES is the X1 Ultimate processor that draws heavily from Sony’s flagship Bravia TV lineup to bring advanced processing of real-time objects. This delivers HDR imagery with deep and rich textures that will allow you to truly experience realism unlike ever before.

Colour Gamut

Sony has brought to the table 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space which is cinema standard which when armed with their own Trilumios Pro algorithm ensures a natural feel to every shading to bring you that little bit closer to the action.
